The Embassy and Consulate General of Bulgaria is pleased to announce the opening of their Visa Application Centers in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Rostov –on-Don, Kazan, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnodar and Krasnoyarsk.

Dear applicants, please draw your attention that the Consulate General of Bulgaria in Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk are closed temporary. So please submit the documents in advance because the documents will be send to the Consulate in Moscow and all the process will take more time.

If you apply for a visa to Bulgaria in Saint-Petersburg, your previous (cancelled) passport should be provided along with the visa application, in case there were any bulgarian visas..

Dear Applicants, from the 12th of September the Bulgarian visa center in Moscow will be open to the following address Sushchevskiy val str., 31, build.2 (Savelovskaya station / Mariina roshcha station).

Attention Individuals!

According to Federal law of Russian Federation “About personal data” it is necessary for every applicant to sign a document “An agreement of processing personal data” since 04/02/2011. Please note that all applicants who submit documents through an authorized representative are also obliged to prepare this document in advance or to sign a power of attorney on a representative.
Please choose the document related to your submission city:
15-02-2011. Dear tour operators, please note that two entries visa will have 6 month’s duration from the 17th of February. Besides, if the number of documents includes a copy of a notarially certified authorization, it should have no less than 6 month’ duration.

For Prospective Applicants

If you wish to apply for a visa to Bulgaria, kindly read the information on this site carefully. The guidelines listed on this site will help you to prepare your documents as accurately as possible. This will reduce the chances of your application being delayed or declined due to inadequate or incorrect submission of documents.

A visa application can be submitted by the following:

  • Applicant himself.
  • Members of the family for their close relatives (spouse, father, mother, adult children, grandparents). Family relationships should be confirmed.
  • Tour operators.
  • Company representative for their employees (only if the purpose of travel is "business" or "professional visit".

ATTENTION

  • Since April 2009 the Consulate General in Moscow doesn't cancel the visa.
  • When you submit / receive documents you should have the internal passport.
  • The urgent visa means only "single entry".
  • Set of documents must be full and the same for each applicant, even if they travel together.
  • The consideration of visa applications takes 4 working days (starting the day after the date of submission). Urgent visas would be considered 2 working days. 2-year visas would be considered 3-6 weeks.
  • The copy of a birth certificate ALLWAYS must be provided for minor children.
